Terms of Service

Pep AI is a collaboration platform that lets users create spaces and groups around topics, links, videos, documents, ideas, courses, projects, and shared resources.

Pep AI may include group chat, notes, tasks, links, boards, diagrams, AI-generated suggestions, summaries, study plans, task extraction, matching, discovery, group memory, browser extension features, and other collaboration tools.

You may use Pep AI only if you can legally agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may use Pep AI only with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or authorized institution. Pep AI is not intended for children under 13.

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk, or violate applicable law.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to Pep AI, including messages, notes, tasks, diagrams, boards, links, prompts, files, comments, and other materials.

By using Pep AI, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any content you add to Pep AI.

Pep AI may allow public and private collaboration. Public groups, public profiles, public activity, and public metadata may be discoverable by other users.

Private groups and private spaces are intended only for authorized members. You are responsible for choosing the right visibility settings and for managing invites, members, and shared content.

Pep AI may generate summaries, explanations, diagrams, tasks, study plans, recommendations, or other outputs using AI.

AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it.

Pep AI does not provide legal, medical, financial, academic integrity, or other professional advice. AI-generated content should be treated as assistance, not a final authority.

Pep AI is designed to support collaboration, learning, planning, and understanding. You agree not to use Pep AI to cheat, impersonate others, submit work dishonestly, violate school policies, or bypass academic integrity rules.

You are responsible for following your school, university, employer, or institution's rules regarding AI-assisted work.

If you use the Pep AI browser extension, it may help you create or join groups around the current page, link, video, or web context.

You are responsible for choosing when to open or use the extension. Do not use the extension on pages where you are not permitted to process or share the page context.

Pep AI may connect to or display content from third-party services such as YouTube, Google, GitHub, Figma, document tools, AI providers, hosting providers, authentication providers, or analytics providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, security, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Some Pep AI features may be free, paid, usage-based, or subscription-based. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation rules, and refund policies will be disclosed at the time of purchase or subscription.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in limited access, suspension, or termination of paid features.

Pep AI, including our software, design, branding, logos, product names, interface, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors.

These Terms do not give you ownership of Pep AI or permission to use our branding except as allowed by us in writing.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. We appreciate feedback, but we are not obligated to implement it.

We may change, suspend, remove, limit, or discontinue parts of Pep AI at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.

We may perform maintenance, release updates, or modify features as needed.

You may stop using Pep AI at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, or if required by law.

Some provisions of these Terms will continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.

Pep AI is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pep AI and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, academic consequences, or loss of goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Pep AI will not exceed the amount you paid to Pep AI in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 10,000 if you have not paid us.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pep AI and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Pep AI, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you by email, in-product notice, or by updating the effective date.

Continued use of Pep AI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless a written agreement with you says otherwise. Any disputes will be handled by the courts located in India, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
